Vincenzo Ferrante, full professor in Employment Law at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, also lectures in Social Insurance Law and in Trade Union Law at the same university.
Since 2003 he has been the co-ordinator of the Employment consultancy and HR management Master’s Programme of the Law Faculty of the same university.
Vincenzo was admitted to practice law in 1994 and is also qualified to appear before the higher courts.
He has authored over 80 essays, articles and notes which have been published in leading law reviews. He received the Massima D’Antona Prize from AIDLASS (the Italian Employment and Social Insurance Law Association) for the best first publication in Employment Law for his monograph “Potere e autotutela nel contratto di lavoro subordinato” (Turin, 2004), in 2005. His more recent publications include: “Orari e tempi di lavoro” (Working Hours), Naples, 2014 , as well as “Direzione e Gerarchia nell’impresa (e nel lavoro pubblico)” (Management and Hierarchy in Companies – and in the State Sector), Milan, 2013.
Thanks to the contribution of DAVERIO & FLORIO he also curated the publication “Codice Europeo del Lavoro” (European Employment Code, Milan, 2009).
