Born in Messina in 1960, Bernardina graduated in Law in 1982 withtop marks from Milan University, with a dissertation on Commercial Law ( under Prof. Giuseppe Sena).
She began her professional career in November 1982, gaining substantial experience in litigation and non-contentious civil law matters, also practicing in the area of family law.
Bernardina began to collaborate with Fabrizio Daverio in 1995, broadening her practice to include consultancy and litigation in employment law, later taking on responsibility for the management and organisation of Fabrizio Daverio’s firm and its contentious practice, which in time developed all over Italy.
In 2001 she became a founding partner of DAVERIO & FLORIO.
Bernardina is a member of the Employment Committee at the Chartered Accountants and Expert Bookkeepers Association of Milan and within this group she proposes the professional training plan and training events (courses, seminars, meetings, workshops) concerning matters related to employment law.
She held a course on “Assignment of one-fifth of salary and amounts due to a spouse in the event of divorce” for the Chartered Accountants and Expert Bookkeepers Association of Milan in June 2009.
Bernardina is a member of AGI – Associazione Giuslavoristi Italiani, the Italian employment lawyers’ association.
She is a co-founder and Vice President of Innangard and a member of ABA, the American Bar Association.
